This Man is Mohandis Gandhi also known as Mahatmas Gandhi meaning the enlightened one. Gandhi was a great man, one of our greatest leaders in history. He did so many things for his country India and South America. He led south africa to unity in its class systems with the hindus muslims and blacks. What sparked all of this you ask? well Gandhi wasnt so much the great man he was before all of his actions. He was a British Lawyer going to South Africa by train traveling first class. He was asked by a white train manager what he was doing inside so Gandhi showed his first class pass and told the man he always travels first class. The man diddnt believe him so he told him to move to third class. Gandhi refused so they threw him out. This Made him Furius so he went on protest. After many years of protesting he prevailed with the help of his comanions and the help of the citizens of South Africa. Gandhi did the same for India but he took many years. He gave them freedom but he did not live long enough to see it happen. His death sparked the revolution more making it their protests prevail. Gandhi was a great man though just a lawyer he convinced all who saw him.
